The reconditioned Stanley Super Star oil cooker from H&F is a factory manufactured oil cooker rather than a conversion. It is a central heating cooker with an integral boiler capable of heating up to 12 standard radiators as well as producing hot water for domestic use. It has a second slow-cooking oven in addition to the main roasting oven and offers modern styling with a robust construction.
The Super Star uses a single pressure jet burner for both the oven and hot water and you have thermostatic control of both via dials mounted on the front panel for quick and easy adjustment. Hot airflow can be adjusted with a moveable baffle system to divert heat towards either the boiler or the oven. Other features are an oven door mounted temperature gauge, under-oven soot door for easy cleaning and lift-out hotplates. This model comes with solid, cast-iron, top oven door for easy cleaning and you can choose the optional plate rack & splash back panel. The heavy cast iron lids retain heat in the hotplate enhancing efficiency and giving you instant cooking heat for pots & pans. |
