The reconditioned Stanley Errigal from H&F is based on the classic Stanley 8 design but is mounted on high, enameled legs giving this model additional height and a more elegant overall appearance. The Stanley Errigal can be distinguished from the Stanley 8 on Legs by the top mounted warming oven and optional trivets (side shelves). You can also choose to add a cast iron hotplate cover on some models.
Mounting this design on high legs also makes the appliance a far more efficient room heater because warmth is radiated out from underneath the cooker as well as the top and sides. The warming oven is heated by heat from the flue pipe, which would otherwise be wasted thus increasing efficiency even further. The Stanley Errigal from H&F offers a choice of five different boilers as well as a cooking only version and comes in solid fuel or converted to oil. The oil model can be either pressure jet or wick burner. |
