Our reconditioned Stanley 8 on Legs is a modest sized heating cooker that offers a choice of five different boilers as well as a cooking only version and comes in solid fuel or converted to oil. The oil model can be either pressure jet or wick burner.
The solid fuel model is a multi-fuel appliance and can be fed from either the front or top on some models. The wick burner offers near silent operation whilst the oil model allows for the convenience of a timer and thermostatic temperature controls. You can also select between enameled or Bakelite door handles and there are options for a plate rack and splash back. The Stanley 8 on Legs has been in continuous production in one form or another from the 1940’s right up to the present day and is the most successful range cooker in Irish history. Several factors contribute towards this success but the most important is versatility. |
