H&F usually has antique Stanley 8 and 9 models in stock and from time to time we have Colleen and Johnson models available so please check with our sales office for availability. Our antique ranges were all manufactured as solid fuel appliances although most can be converted to oil utilising a vaporising burner.
They all stand on elegant short legs allowing for further heat radiation from the underside of the cooker making them excellent room-heating appliances. Although all of these cookers are at least 70 years old they work perfectly and employ features still used in modern cookers such as convection heated ovens and flue box damper systems. Our antique Stanley 8 and 9 ranges are fully reconditioned but are not modified in any way and as they were designed for for homes in the early part of the last century they may not be ideal in a modern home. Please call our sales team for advice as to whether these models will work in your home. We offer these ranges in their original matt black & burnished trim finish or some models can be vitreous enameled to a colour of your choice. |
